About CLF
Changing Lives Foundation was founded by Kudzai Manjengwa, a social worker by profession. Kudzai was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where her passion for social justice and community empowerment began. She holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Zimbabwe, which laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to uplifting vulnerable individuals and communities.
At the age of 24, she moved to the United Kingdom to further pursue her career in social work. Since then, she has worked as a qualified social worker, advocating for the rights and well-being of children, families, and individuals from all walks of life. Her professional journey has deepened her understanding of the complex challenges faced by disadvantaged communities, and it continues to shape her approach to inclusive and compassionate service.
She is currently pursuing a Master in Humanitarian Action and Peacebuilding from Oxford Brookes University. This academic path is helping her to understand the social, political and economic factors that shape human development and access to education. This academic journey is providing the tools to design more effective programs, advocate for inclusive policies and implement sustainable solutions that address educational inequality.
As the founder of Changing Lives Foundation, she is deeply committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where children can thrive through education and mentorship, regardless of their background or faith. Our mission is rooted in love, equity, and opportunity, believing that every child deserves the chance to dream, learn, and achieve.
